Snowflakes Day Nursery & Montessori in Southall, UB1 sits just off Lady Margaret Road, serving UB1 families from our setting at 100 Carlyle Avenue. Our founding branch opened in 2002, and still family-run by the same team who started it. We are proud to see our earliest graduates now attending university, a testament to the strong foundations built in our community.
With space for just 35 children, this setting feels more personal. The smaller numbers mean closer relationships and that matters when you're trusting someone with your child's earliest years
Our Setting is where we refined our approach over many years and improved consistently focusing heavily on the long-term potential of children's abilities. Many of the staff here have grown with Snowflakes with some caring for children since its opening. Children recieve consistency and reliability with highly qualified staff.
Our dedicated soft-play playground provides a safe, dynamic environment where children can climb, balance, and run in all weathers. It ensures that active play is a guaranteed part of every single day, regardless of the season.
Children from Lady Margaret Road consistently exceed expectations. Most graduate students read independently, write confidently, and understand number concepts thoroughly. Starting primary school confident and ready to explore new challenges.
We have built strong connections with numerous primary schools since 2002 such as:
Children are able to start primary school with their new teachers already having a strong understanding of the development areas they excel in and also need attention in allowing for seamless transitions.
Beyond academics, children develop concentration, persistence, and natural kindness.
Safety is the foundation of everything we do. Every member of our team undergoes enhanced DBS checks and rigorous safeguarding training, creating a culture of openness where your child’s welfare always comes first.
At pick-up, we prioritise a proper face-to-face handover because an app can never replace a conversation but we use the EYlog app to send you updates and photos also, so you are never disconnected from your child’s journey.
We are proud to be a part of Southall & Northolt's vibrant community. We regularly engage children in projects that expand their understanding of the world with empathy, ensuring they are confident and capable communicators in a multicultural environment.
Our team reflects the diversity of the families we serve, and so does our curriculum. We celebrate the festivals that matter to our parents from Diwali and Eid to Christmas helping children build a deep respect and understanding of different cultures and beliefs before they even start school.
We believe in removing the "mental load" from your morning. That is why our fees are fully inclusive.
We provide:
Our dedicated chefs prepare fresh, hot meals from scratch on-site every day. We cater to all dietary requirements including Halal, vegetarian, and allergy-specific needs ensuring your child has the right fuel everyday.
We Are on Your Team. Raising a child takes a village. Whether it’s support with potty training, advice on sleep routines, or a termly one-to-one meeting to discuss your child’s progress, we are here to support your parenting journey, not just look after your child.
Every Snowflakes branch follows the same Montessori-EYFS curriculum — structured learning that balances focused activities with child-led discovery. What you see at Lady Margaret Road reflects 22 years of refining this approach.
We welcome children from 3 months to 5 years. Lady Margaret Road is our most intimate setting, registered for up to 35 children. Babies begin in the Lilac Room with a dedicated key person before moving into the Blue Room and Green Room, where each child's development is individually planned.
We are open 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, all year round with no term-time closure. A full day runs across two sessions — morning (8am–12:55pm) and afternoon (1:05pm–6pm). As our smallest setting with 35 places, session times feel unhurried and drop-off is personal rather than a rush.
Yes. We accept 15-hour and 30-hour free childcare for 3- and 4-year-olds, funded places for eligible 2-year-olds, and Tax-Free Childcare. Every team member is paediatric first aid certified with an enhanced DBS check.
Yes. Our team includes educators who speak Punjabi, Hindi, and Urdu alongside English. Staff speak English in the classroom as standard, but communicate naturally with parents in their home language when it helps.
