The government only funds 38 term-time weeks a year. To keep parents monthly invoice consistent year-round, we stretch that allowance across all 52 weeks. Instead of receiving funding only during term time, you get a continuous deduction every week: roughly 11 hours off for 15-hour funding, or 22 hours off for 30-hour funding.
Every 3 and 4 year old gets 15 funded hours a week. Working families can get up to 30 hours from 9 months, and some 2-year-olds qualify for 15 hours. Tax-Free Childcare can help with the rest.
