We take full advantage of our unique location next to the Grand Union Canal. Our nursery is secure and private, the surrounding green spaces and water create an extra environment for learning. Children can observe the changing seasons and local wildlife, fostering a natural curiosity about the world around them.
We are perfectly positioned for parents commuting via the A40 and A312, with public parking right outside the door to ensure mornings and evening run is safe and stress-free.

We welcome children from 3 months to 5 years. Grand Union Village is our largest setting, registered for up to 76 children. Babies start in the Lilac Room before moving into the Blue Room and Green Room — mixed-age settings where smaller groups allow development to be planned around each child.
We are open 8am to 6pm, Monday to Friday, all year round with no term-time closure. A full day runs across two sessions — morning (8am–12:55pm) and afternoon (1:05pm–6pm). You can book full days, mornings, or afternoons, and the nearby car park makes drop-off and pick-up straightforward between sessions.
Yes. We accept 15-hour and 30-hour free childcare for 3- and 4-year-olds, funded places for eligible 2-year-olds, and Tax-Free Childcare. With 76 places across our age rooms, availability for funded sessions is generally good — our team can talk you through your options and help with the application.
Our outdoor area runs along the entire length of the nursery with climbing frames, soft play, wet play, messy play areas, and bikes. The Grand Union Canal towpath is a 30-second walk from the entrance, and children regularly go on supervised nature walks along the canal docks.
Free parking is available in the car park on Grand Union Village, shared with local residents. Taywood Road runs alongside the nursery and can also be used for drop-off and pick-up without restriction, giving families two convenient options within a short walk of the entrance.
